This is technology. The future (might) include pirate droids, flying about your city, allowing people to communicate.

This isn’t just about piracy though, these could be used to get around censorship as well as rural telecommunications. I mean, combined with some of the new blimp ideas, you could have a very large system of autonomous drones around, and thanks to the FAA, in a five to ten years, they’ll be legal for anyone to use in the states.
