It is something to think about. What is the value of a degree as a differentiating feature for job seekers if nearly everyone has one? Shifting the focus for employers away from the degree itself will be difficult because just looking at the degree is much faster and less complicated than other methods of evaluation.
I’d not shared this wonderful site yet (here). If you’re interested in video game music, you should stop by and have a listen. It’s an online multiplayer video game streaming video game radio station. It’s a blast! We’ve (yes I did say we) got pure OSTs, the entire catalogue of OverClockedRemixes (and albums!), as well as an eclectic station (v-wave, show it some love, as there’s never many people tuned in to it). With ratings for the songs (and competition for completion), stat tracking, and an awesome community, there’s not much to dislike about joining in. I’ve nearly stopped using my local iTunes collection in favor of rainwave, you should too! It’s called outsourcing, and it could save you GBs of hard drive space.
